We have been learning about spiders this week and have been looking at similarities and differences.

We have been very busy retelling our story this afternoon. 🕷️

We have learnt all the Makaton signs for the animals in our story and then used them to retell the story.

It’s been a busy day using our fine motor skills to thread webs for the spiders and using our subitising skills to count spiders! 🕷️🕷️

Nursery Stay and Learn

Today we welcomed parents to stay and learn, we had a lovely morning! This week we have been looking at the book “Aaaarggh Spider” lots of our activities had a spidery theme. 🕷️

We have been busy baking cakes and making hats ready to celebrate Maisie’s Birthday 🎂

Today we have read I Like Trains!

We have printed trains with blocks and made marks to represent train track, trains and signals.

We had lots of Pudsey fun on Friday whilst raising money for charity.

Thank you to all our parents who joined us today to help us celebrate World Nursery Rhyme week. We had lots of fun sharing our rhymes and activities with you all.

We have been busy learning about Diwali the festival of light. We have moulded dough into Diya lamps. Made marks to create Rangoli patterns and wrote our names in our cards we have decorated.
