Court Visit
We took a trip to the Family and Civil Court to take part in a mock trial and meet some real life judges!
2Y6 Lowry Museum Trip
Since we have been studying L.S. Lowry, we took a trip to The Lowry Museum in Salford and took part in a portrait workshop after viewing some of Lowry’s famous paintings. We had such a fabulous day!
1We rounded off our ‘My Bnk’ sessions with talking about money habits and the importance of saving! We even made our very own money bank.
Maths parental workshop
Thank you to our parents who came to our Reception maths parental workshop this week! We look at how to support your children with their shape knowledge at home.
4Chinese New Year celebrations
To celebrate the new lunar year, we have been getting crafty in class making representations of dragons using a variety of resources. Look at our fabulous dragons! We also made our own lanterns after learning about the significance of the colour red.
2Year 4 had so much fun at their campfire toasting marshmallows and drinking hot chocolate🔥🍂!!!
4KM had an amazing morning learning a Chinese dance and carrying the Chinese dragon🇨🇳🐲!!!
Tesco trip
To continue learning about chefs, we’re going to become chefs and make our own soup! To prepare for this, we went to Tesco to buy the ingredients we need.

ESOL class awards
Congratulations to our parents who have completed the 12 week Stepping Stones ESOL class. We celebrated with certificates and food.
34Year 3 and 4 had an amazing time watching a Christmas performance! We all had a good laugh and got involved.

5NA went to a solar system workshop at UCLAN. We did lots of investigations all about the solar system!
64RLMc visit Speke Hall
Yesterday RLMc had lots of fun visiting Speke Hall. We looked at the changes for Autumn and we even saw a sleeping giant! We visited the giants house, kitchen, music room and even his playground. It was lots of fun!
17RAG trip to Speke Hall
Reception had a lovely afternoon visiting Speke Hall! We followed the Giant trail and spotted lots of the giant’s clothes high up in the trees! We tiptoed past the sleeping giant, making sure not to wake him! We then walked around the grounds, looking for signs of Autumn.
Thank you to all our parents who joined us today to help us celebrate World Nursery Rhyme week. We had lots of fun sharing our rhymes and activities with you all.
