The new school meal email system started this week.

You will receive an email by the 24th April with a 16 digit code on.

If you have a query about free school meal vouchers, you can email or call Edenred:

phone: 0333 400 5932

What to do with your code

You will then go to and put in your code, choose your supermarket and this will then generate you an e voucher to spend.

The value of the code will be for £15.00 per child for four weeks. For example if you have two children on free school meals the code will be for £120.00.

Please be aware if you choose to redeem your code in Asda you will only be able to do this for a maximum of £100.00. The balance will have to be redeemed for a second supermarket.

Aldi will be joining the scheme on Monday 27th April, so if you can wait to redeem your voucher until then you will have a greater choice.

You can take a screen shot of your voucher so you can use it in the supermarket even if you have no mobile data..

Free school meal vouchers are changing.

From 20th April you will no longer collect vouchers from Children Centres.  Instead, codes will be emailed to families that will need to be exchanged for an e- voucher to be used in one of the following supermarkets:

  • Morrisons

  • Tesco

  • Sainsbury’s

  • Asda

  • Waitrose

  • M&S food

If you are currently receiving free school meal vouchers, you must now email  with the following information:

  1. Your full name

  2. The names and year groups of all of your children that are entitled to free school meals.

Please note, the email address that you use to send the above information to, will be the email address that your weekly code is sent to.

In order to have your vouchers ready for 20th April, please email us by 15th April.
