We are very proud to be a “School of Sanctuary” in Liverpool for a second time. Watch the video above, written by the children, to find out some of the things that make our school special.

Being a School of Sanctuary means we have been recognised for providing a safe, inclusive and welcoming place for everyone, including anyone seeking sanctuary. This could be people whose lives were in danger in their own country, who have troubles at home or are just looking for a space of safety.

Our ambition is to help our children and their families, staff and the community to understand what it means to be seeking sanctuary and to extend a warm welcome to everyone as equal, valued members of our school community.

We always welcome any suggestions or ideas parents may have to support this. Please speak to Head Teacher Mr. Horne or family Link Worker Mrs J Ireland.
